• Nearly 100 000 of these people will die

• More deaths than car accidents, AIDS and breast cancer combined.

• These numbers are increasing every year

• Because many of the bug strains are Drug Resistant

• What is to blame?

• 80% of all infections are spread by touch

• Touch surfaces such as stainless steel, melamine, glass and other materials can act as

reservoirs of infection

• Bugs can survive on these surfaces for months, incubating and waiting

• But there is a surface material that kills up to 99.9% of all bacteria within ten minutes!!

• Antimicrobial copper is any copper alloy with a copper content of more than 60%

• How does copper kill bacteria – the first step is a direct interaction between the copper surface and the bacterial

outer membrane, causing the membrane to rupture

• The second is related to the holes in the outer membrane through which the cell loses vital nutrients and water,

causing a general weakening of the cell

• After membrane perforation, copper can inhibit any given enzyme that stands in its way and stop the cells from

transporting or digesting, nutrients, from repairing its damaged membrane or from multiplying.

Rijko Curtain Solutions Designer patterns are manufactured

with Avora FR, an inherently fire retardant polyester. That

means that the fire retardant qualities of the fabric are

restrictions into account when designing our specific furniture. When these units are not

in use they can be neatly & conveniently stored ensuring a spacious working

environment, adding to productivity & staff morale.

We have combined the bedside locker and overbed table to form a single unit freeing

up valuable space in the wards when not in use.

The Pandae range of Cabinets have been specially designed with our

years of industrial experience. These strong and robust cabinets come

in various colours and are powder coated in a durable epoxy finish.

We raised the base/plinth for more stability and ease of cleaning. All

cabinets are fitted with aluminium locking mechanisms and drawer

cabinets have an “Anti-tilt feature” for added safety and security.

The trays and dividers are injection moulded in tough clear polycarbonate or ABS

and are ideally suited to the rigours of a busy hospital routine. They are light

weight, extremely strong and user friendly. They won’t snag or damage contents.

Hygienic, they can withstand prolonged high temperature machine washing and

are resistant to standard detergents.

Simple slot in dividers, both solid and snappable, allow the trays to be

compartmentalised lengthwise and breadthwise to accommodate the materials

stored. Changes to layouts can be made in seconds.

Accessories

Pandae Cabinets are supplied complete with plastic liners for the space saving

storage of our 50, 100 and 200mm deep trays and baskets. Constructed from

high quality laminated board - these robust cabinets offer the optimum in space

utilisation.

Modular cabinets are available either free standing or wall fixed. Open fronted

cabinets for direct tray access, or left hand, right hand or slit doors can be fitted.

In line with Health and safety requirements all Pandae cabinets can be fitted

with customised sloping tops, sitting flush onto the cabinet top panel they ease

cleaning and eliminate hoarding.

Designed in conjunction with healthcare professionals this lightweight, robust,

but secure trolley system comes complete with various practical accessories.

You choose the option of liners or telescopic drawer units then add on the

accessories you need to help you. The trolleys are complete with hardwearing

working surface, smooth non marking rubber castor's and anti scuff buffers to

protect your infrastructure.

Carcas manufactured from 1mm Aluminium Epoxy coated 50 micron. Trolley is fitted

with 4 x 125mm swivel double non-marking castors.

Specialised Storage Trolleys

Quick Space modules or trolleys is the answer to many material logistic

problems. Available in various sizes, they’re based on a common chassis

constructed from stainless steel or epoxy powder coated mild steel.

Each unit is fitted with horizontal runners to accept our trays, baskets and

shelves. They are available with optional stainless steel, laminate or solid

core worktops.

can store up to 500 line items per unit.

All compact storage cabinets are stand alone units, thereby

alleviating assembly costs and enabling ease of re-

Control unitPowerful controllers are used to coordinatethe sending and receiving processes. Thedifferences between the microprocessor-controlled systems depend on theircomplexity and the purpose for which theyare used.

CarrierThe Aerocom carrier is an attractivelydesigned, robust precision engineeredcontainer with a sturdy swivel cap.

Blower with reversing valveThe blower creates both pressure andsuction. However, the absolute value of theair pressure is not significant. It is thequantity of air that creates the driving forceand produces speeds of six to eight metresper second.

DiverterThis is the only technique that allows apneumatic system to be both complex andrationally designed. It enables a carrier to beinserted at any station in the system andtransported to the desired recipient.

Precision dispatch TubesPVC tubing is the preferred material intoday’s systems. In some applications, mainlypublic building such as hospitals, stainlesssteel tubing is specified. The tube system canbe installed in false ceilings or, if connectinga number of buildings, it can be laidunderground or in the open.

Modular prefabricated units can be built, customized and

supplied to ensure that all your needs are met. The rapid

deployment of these structures ensures that you can be up

and running and that tight deadlines are met within very short

time periods.

A combination of prefabricated units with a standard ocean

container allows the units and product to be shipped either

by truck or sea in a safe and economic way. Once on site

the prefabricated units will be erected and the container

converted.

The modular concept of the prefabricated insulated units

allows building structures of any size and shape to be

manufactured and supplied with or without electrical and

plumbing.
