Horton’s partnership with Bevan Healthcare

Horton have had services co-located with Bevan Healthcare since 2002.

This was initially to work with homeless families

In 2008 we started supporting refugees in the city

All the clients we support are registered with Bevan healthcare

Crisis Service Gateway Protection Programme Vulnerable Persons Relocation Scheme 8 single units of property for refugees

(Almshouse)

Gateway Protection Programme/VPR

This service started in 2008 Supports 100 individuals new to the city every

year (planned migration from refugee camps around the world). These are mainly families.

Nationalities we have worked with: Rohinghan; Congolese; Ethiopian; Somali; Bhutanese; Sudanese; Syrian

Provide support for 1 year, around integration.

Crisis Service

This has been operating since 2007. It has one support worker

It supports anyone who represents in crisis(housing, homeless, benefits, mental health etc).

Short term/one off interventions/flexible and responsive service.

Drop in at Bevan House on Friday 12.00pm to 2.00pm
