Yes! It’s time for camp!

Christian Education Ministries iscommitted to make sure that weprovide the best summer campsavailable for our Junior Highsand Senior Highs. We have agreat planning team that has worked hard tomake sure these conferences are fun as well as

spiritually enriching.

Please be sure to get this information to some-one who will be motivated to get your youth tothese great conference.

I strongly encourage you to take a week off fromwork and make an IMPACT with the youth fromyour church.

E. Brent Turner Executive Director

Dear Friends,

Can you believe it, it is time to start think-ing about summer camps and conferences. While it is still cold outside it will not belong before it that cold turns to warmth. Andwarmer days means youth conferences.

The Horizon (Senior High) and Quest(Middle School) conferences serve two purposes. First, theconferences serve the purpose of helping young people

come to an initial knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord andSavoir. If a young person has not made a profession of faithin Jesus Christ, the conferences will provide the opportunityfor youth to hear the gospel. Paul says in Romans 10:17-“Faith comes from hearing the message and the message isheard through the word of Christ.” The second purpose of the conferences is to disciple young people who are alreadybelievers. 2 Peter 3:18 states, “But grow in the grace andknowledge of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ.” This knowl-edge is the ever-deepening experience of Christ and under-standing of his truth that should characterize the entirecourse of a believers’ life.

Though the weather may still be cold, I hope you will beginto think of summer and youth conferences at Bonclarken. Ihope you will be with us this summer so that, through theHoly Spirit, the Kingdom of God will advance in the lives of our young people.
