The European Research Council (ERC) is already a
major funding source for investigator-driven frontier
research. About 17% of the ERC-budget will be
allocated to SSH
Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MCA) give
opportunities for greater mobility and network building.
The SSH share is 11-12%
Several major research infrastructures in the SSH are
supported by FP7/H2020: CESSDA, DARIAH, CLARIN,
ESS, SHARE, InGRID

Integrating SSH: practical steps
Flagging tool will be provided, giving immediate link to certain
topics which correspond to important horizontal issues
The expert advisory groups of each Societal Challenge
include SSH scientists
The evaluation panels of the Societal Challenges need to
include experts with SSH competences
A regular review of the implementation of interdisciplinarity
in each Societal Challenge should also be organised during the
lifetime of Horizon 2020
