What wisdom she had in seeing God’s way with her. It was very evi-dent in her writings that her strength and hope came from her loving Savior.

In both of her books of poems, she always included an invitation to have a relationship with the Lord. At Project Hope, we carry on many of the things she did in her day. We pray with each client that is served in the Pantry. We, like she did, feel the importance of sharing God’s salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. Memories of Annetta Jansen ~ by Gregg Dykstra, Muskegon, MI

I am one of a few who can call Annetta Jansen my Aunt Nett. She was my Dad's baby

sister and they shared a giving heart.

She was a person so unassuming in nature. Never wanting or accepting praise, but always passing on the praise to God. She was a giver not a taker. I can remember a house, a basement and a garage filled with food and clothing for others. She would re-ceive cash gifts to help sustain her frugal lifestyle and she would turn and give it to some-

one she thought needed it more than her.

She didn't have many rules when it came to sharing her earthly goods, but she did have one. She would give you anything, but before you left she would always PRAY with

you and for you and share the gospel message.

We still carry on that legacy at Project Hope/Annetta Jansen Ministry Center to this day

and I hope it never ends because it is all about God our provider.

She surely is an example of a "servant heart" to whom God gave the opportunity to

share the loaves and fishes with the 5,000 and so many more. What a legacy to pass on.

My prayer is that every day we, at Project Hope/Annetta Jansen Ministry Center, re-member her dedication to her fellow man, but above all, her dedication to God. What a

blessing to share.

Project Hope/Annetta Jansen Ministry Center is touching lives in so many ways and has grown in so many ways, but our focus remains the same. Remember, it's not about Aunt Nett or Project Hope/Annetta Jansen Ministry Center, but all about God who freely

shares with all. Give Him all the glory.

Aunt Nett's life is an example to me everyday, that it's not about me, but about God and His kingdom. I have so many more memories to share, but not the space to share them.

We want to thank all the area churches for your continued support for this ministry. It is because of your faithfulness that we are able to continue the legacy of

what Annetta Jansen started so long ago, blessing and helping others in the wonderful Name of God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Blessed Holy Spirit.

To God be the Glory!

THANKS ~ Annetta Jansen

Thanks for the burden, Lord, For else how had I known

And felt the Everlasting Arms If I had strength my own.

Thanks for the burden, Lord,

For now I understand The helplessness of others And try to lend a hand.

Thanks for the burden, Lord, I know Thou chastenest me: But Thy great love is stronger Than e’er I thought could be.

“I can do all things through Christ

which strengthened me.”

Philippians 4:13

WAIT AND PRAY

Wait and pray- Seek God’s way; Through the deep

He will keep.

Wait and pray- God will stay: Never fear, He is near.

Wait and pray-

Trust today; Leave the rest

God knows best.

Memories of Annetta When I was a Young Girl ~ by Kathleen Neff, Dorr, MI

As a youth in 1967, I met Annetta one time only. In 1984 my Mother passed away. Annetta sent me several cards of comfort and it meant so much to me.

God bless her because she blessed me at my time of need.
