God’s Word is full of promises that our Lord has kept! “God faithfully keeps his promises” (1 Corinthians 1:9a). “Christ has given us the promise of eternal life” (1 John 2:25). When you promise something, it means you will do it. You will find the words “promise,” “promised,” and “promises” hundreds of times in the Bible. In the word search below, try to find “promise,” as well as the many other words that have a similar meaning.

HOPE – OpportunityLet’s take the opportunity to share and learn more about God’s Word—read your Bible, attend Sunday school, have family devotions. No matter what you or your family are going through, God is there with you with His Word of comfort, peace, and encouragement. “[T]he Lord gave me an opportunity to spread the Good News about Christ” (2 Corinthians 2:12). “Keep praying. Pay attention when you offer prayers of thanksgiving. At the same time also pray for us. Pray that God will give us an opportunity to speak the word so that we may tell the mystery about Christ” (Colossians 4:2-3). “Think of our Lord’s patience as an opportunity for us to be saved” (2 Peter 3:15).
