Starting at either trail head, hikers can navigate the entire trail system and numerous lake access points.

The trail guides hikers through one of the most pristine park areas. This trail is heavily canopied along the lake, leading into an open field of cedar trees. Hikers have been so impressed with the new trail system that the Little Elm Festival Association has donated $10,000 for trail improvements, signage, and rustic benches.
