GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Fixture is constructed of an aluminum die-castballast housing with a thermal chimneyseparating the ballast core and coil from thecapacitor and other components. Painted spun-aluminum reflector is totally enclosed with full gasketing at connection to fixture andbetween lens and frame. Dacron breather gasketbetween lens and reflector. The reflector is heldto the ballast compartment with screws. Dropprismatic refractor is precision injection-moldedacrylic and secure to the refector by supportingring and clip assembly. Mount ing con figu ra tionof Hook, Cord & Plug includes a heavy-dutysteel hanger with a safety-lock spring and 30"(762 mm) cord with a factory-installed NEMAlocking-type cord cap.

ELECTRICAL

Fixture includes clear, mogul-base lamp. Pulse-rated porcelain enclosed, 4kv-rated screw-shell-type lampholder with spring-loadedcenter contact. Lamp ignitor included whererequired. Ballast assemblies are high-powerfactor and consist of the following circuit types:

Reactor (277V PSMH)150 – 400W PSMH

HX — High Reactance150W HPS

CWA — Constant Wattage Autotransformer150 – 400W PSMH; 175 – 400W MH; 250 – 400W HPS

LABELSUL and cUL Listed for damp and wet (IP65-ratedfixture option) locations and for a maximumambient temperature of 55°C; most wattageshigher – See Technical Data Sheet TD-12 on our web site.
