Math Requirements

Two Math Courses are required for FKL. Specific courses are determined by your major.

Several majors require specific Calculus or Statistics courses.

If your major does not specify a particular math course, you may choose any two math courses.

College Math vs High School Math – it’s not the same.

Same requirement as the BA language requirement.•Participation in an Honors course that travels to a non-English speaking country.•Participation in a university sponsored study abroad program of 4 weeks or more, to a non-English speaking area.

Academic Advising

All first-year students MUST meet with their academic advisor during the Fall and Spring semesters prior to registering for the next semester courses. Students will have a hold placed on their OASIS account until they meet with their Honors College Advisor.

Make your registration advising appointment early, as advisors’ schedules fill quickly. Appointments typically last 30 minutes.

Short walk-in appointments are available throughout the semester, but are not a substitute for a registration appointment.
