TOPIC: EQUALITYQuestions to Ask Yourself and Inspire You for Your Poem: What does equality mean to you? What actions are taken
today when people are treated unfairly? What actions could be taken? When people are treated unfairly what
pain comes out of this situation? What are some solutions that could prevent inequality?
Guidelines:
1. Poems may be written in any form (lyrical, narrative, etc.)
2. May be typed or handwritten (must be legible)
3. Poems do not have to rhyme4. Should be between 20-25 lines
5. Poems should be school appropriate (language)
6. No plagiarism
Prizes:
First Place- $75Second Place- $50
Third Place- $25Winners will be recognized at CHS Black History
