The Hong Kong Regional Group

The HKRG was formed in 2001 and has steadily been growing and promoting the

value provided by well trained and experienced geologists in the HKSAR ever since.

Currently we have:

• 291 Fellows (2% of entire GSL)

• 85 Chartered Fellows (3% of entire GSL)

• 10 new Chartered Fellows in the last year (6% of entire GSL)

HK includes almost 50% of the companies/organisations implementing the GSL

Accredited Training Scheme (including Arup, CEDD, Jacobs, Gammon & Fugro)

HKRG Committee for 2014/15 Session

The committee met seven times throughout

the 2014/15 sessions in order to arrange a

variety of events.

My thanks to them for giving up significant

amounts of their time to help continue the

trend set in 2013/14 and once again facilitate

an extremely active and successful year for

the Hong Kong Regional Group

HKRG Financial Situation

The Regional Group currently enjoys a very

comfortable financial situation with cash reserves

of HK$62,300 in the bank, largely as a result of

revenue generated by the one-day Conference in

February 2014.

Incoming Revenue: HK$59,950.80

Outgoing Expenses: HK$66,232.30
