TrendManager Batch Report Tool

Honeywell’s Trendview recorders provide the flexibility, security, accuracy and networking capabilities to meet your batch recording needs. Trendview recorders support process monitoring for up to 6 different process batches.

Trendview Batch Report Tool

A tool that improves on the creation of specific Batch reports from TrendManager or TrendServer database makes it easier to analyze and document specific batch process. This tool uses the recorder batch information that has been imported into the TrendManager software, eliminating the error prone steps of manually entering the data into a spreadsheet application. This tool allows a user to easily generate separate batch report in a secure PDF format to document the final results of the batch process. The batch report contains the following details as part of the report.

• Batch Report Name, Description, Lot No., Comment as entered in the recorder for a batch

• Batch report data in a tabular format.

• Min/max information for each pen present in the batch.

• Events that occurred within the batch’s start and end time (System messages, User Messages, Alarm messages, Security messages etc.).

• Batch Graph.

To create a specific report, the Batch Mode in the TrendManager software is used to select the batch of interest using the Batch Viewer function. Once the desired batch is selected the “Generate Report” button is used to create the report utilizing the Batch Report Tool function. The Batch Report “Settings” button allows a user to make adjustments to the specific report before generating a separate PDF file that can be saved or printed.

Batch Report Tool The Batch Report Tool allows the user to quickly adjust the parameters of the report to focus on the important data within the recorded batch information. You can easily adjust the Start and Stop times for the data, adjust the data rate for the report data and add comments to the report.

Batch Viewer in TrendManager

The Batch Report function is enabled via an unlock code which is entered the first time you go to run a Batch Report in the TrendManager Software. The first time you go to generate a report, a dialog box appears, requesting the entry of the unlock code to enable this function. Once registered, the dialog box shown below for creating a specific report appears.

To create a specific report, the Batch Viewer function in the Batch Mode for TrendManager is used to select the batch of interest. Once the desired batch is selected the “Generate Report” button is used to create the report.

The tool generates a PDF file that can be saved or printed.

The Batch Report “Settings” menu allows you to change settings related to the generation of the report rather than the underlying data. For example, the individual sample periods for any of the pens may or may not align with the sample period of the report and will be padded to provide consistency across the report. As part of the report settings (shown above), you can adjust the start and stop time to match the period of time over which you are interested in creating a report. You can also adjust the scaling for each pen to be the original scale, a max-min scale or a custom scale.

The Batch Report function can be order using the following part numbers; this requires TrendManager Software Version 6.1.38.0 or higher to use the Batch Report Tool:
