CMC Bulletin Board LENTEN BIBLE STUDY – The Lenten Bible Study continues today after the Youth Lunch in the Fellowship Building with “The Farewell Discourse.” If you are interested in attending the remaining Lenten studies, please sign up on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board. YOUTH LUNCH – There will be a Youth Lunch TODAY in the Fellowship Building immediately following the service. The menu will be BBQ (pork and chicken), baked beans, slaw, rolls, and dessert. There is no charge but a love offering will be collected to help the youth with their programs and missions.

MARVELOUS MORAVIANS – Those of you who signed up for the tour of The Cardinal Hotel (the old R. J. Reynolds Building) in downtown Winston-Salem and dining onsite for lunch at Katherine’s Brasserie on Tuesday, March 13 should meet at the church parking lot at 11 AM. We will be car-pooling. Reservations for lunch are at 11:30 AM. There is valet parking in front of the building. The meal will cost from $10.00 to $15.00 depending on what you want.

PETERSBROOK RCC LENTEN PROJECT - The Petersbrook RCC is partnering with Church World Services and is asking for your assistance to put together ten (10) Emergency Cleanup Buckets or Hygiene Kits. You can provide assistance to families and communities affected by flooding, tornados and other disasters. Please pick up a list of supplies needed for the buckets or hygiene kits project from the ledge below the COMMUNITY Bulletin Board. A sign up sheet for those interested is posted on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board. Please sign up to indicate which kit you will be putting together. GRAVE STONE CLEANING – The Youth will be cleaning grave stones in God’s Acre on Friday, March 30. If you have any stones to be cleaned, please call, email or mail your list to the church office or fill out the slip on the table in the Resource Center and put your list in the wooden box designated for Grave Stone cleaning. CANDY NEEDED FOR EASTER EGG HUNT – If you would like to contribute candy, we need small wrapped candy to fill the plastic eggs. Please drop off your candy in the Resource Center no later than March 25th and place in the box designated for candy. EASTER EGG HUNT – The annual egg hunt will be Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Fellowship Building. We will have an egg hunt and lunch, followed by a short program. We hope all the children can join us for a great time. NO OPENING EXERCISE - THERE WILL BE NO OPENING EXERCISE ON EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 1. INSTEAD. WE WILL HAVE A COFFEE HOUR BEGINNING AT 9:15 AM IN THE HALLWAY OUTSIDE THE VESTRY BEFORE SUNDAY SCHOOL. FLOWER CROSS – All households are asked to bring fresh cut flowers on Easter morning to create our Flower Cross. The cross will be prominently placed outside the church so that flowers can be placed on the mesh frame as a sign and witness to the joy and beauty of our Easter proclamation – “Christ Is Risen!” EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE – The 246th annual Easter Sunrise Service in Salem will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2018 beginning at 6:15 AM at the Square. This year’s service will be officiated by the Rev. John P. Jackman, Pastor at Trinity Moravian Church. Be prepared to “Come Hear the Sunrise.”
