The importance of a guiding light can’t be understated, and Shri Hemant Vissanji

Sir was a guiding light in true sense. He was like a safe harbour, a beacon of hope

for those around him. He was a visionary, a man with an exceptional foresight,

who was well ahead of his time. He had great visions of progress for both the in-

stitutions.

Sir was a charismatic person, a pillar of strength who motivated each and every

person around him. He would always talk in depth about those visions. He had a

mission to give exceptional and progressive education of the highest quality to all

the students, focusing not only on their intellectual growth but also on their value

based all-round development.

He had immense concern for students and as such made sure that the students

of both the institutions prospered in their educational prospects, in curricular,

co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

His love for silent animals is very well-known. He would always interact and re-

spond to stray dogs and also give them little treats to show his affection for them.

He was an avid sports enthusiast and a fitness freak who always kept himself fit.

He took keen interest in the overall development of the students and also encour-

aged students of both the school and college to pursue sports events and compe-

titions at inter-school, inter-college as well as University level.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden demise of our honourable trustee, who

passed away on 16th August 2019. May his soul rest in peace. His absence will be

sorely felt throughout both the institutions. He will be dearly missed by the staff

and students alike. A visionary and forward thinking man like him is irreplace-

able. We hope to carry forward his legacy and continue to build on his missions

and vision by upholding the core values instilled by him in both the institutions.
