How it works
The light (635nm) emitted from HomeFlex-Lipo causes
the fat cell membranes to temporarily alter the
permeability of the cell. This brief change allows the fat
contents to seep out from the cell into the interstitial
space from where it can be processed by the
lymphatic system. Exercise completes the process of
burning the energy resulting in immediate slimming and
toning – ‘in the areas you want'.
The science behind HomeFlex-Lipo
A chromophore is the part of a molecule responsible
for its colour that absorb certain wavelengths of visible
light. Red light (635nm) causes the fat cell membranes
to lose their round shape, changing the permeability of
the cell. This alteration of the cell triggers the release of
a lipase enzyme that breaks triglycerides (fat) down
into monoglycerides and fatty acids, which releases
energy, shrinking the cell.
