Seniors are look-ing for different features than young families orsingles. Listed below is some important informa-tion and statics on bathroom renovations andupgrades.

The master bathroom is getting themost attention, 60% of people are renovating themaster bath,35% other full bathroom and 5%powder room. Master bathrooms are beingenlarged by 1/4 of homeowners. Completelynew bathrooms are being designed 58% of thetime. 55% of remodelers are choosing to includedouble sinks in the master. Undermounted sinksare still the most popular with above counterbeing 2nd choice with homeowners. The desir-ability of having a master en suite increases withage of homeowner while enlargement of themaster decreases. 48% of homeowner will havean enclosed toilet and older individuals preferthe privacy of a enclosed toilet, 54% add a door.Frameless clear glass showers are favoured inbathrooms today. The younger generation enjoymultiple shower heads and favour rain showerheads, and tiled shelving. The older generationprefer detachable hand held shower heads. Brushed nickel is the top finishchoice at 26% popularity, polished chrome 24%,brushed stainless 15%, polished stainless 12%and oil rubbed bronze at 7%.
