Over 100 years have passed since Willoughby H. Singer noticed that this area

had the potential to be a bustling hub. That’s why, in 1921, he opened a post

office in the one and only store here. In 1924, a community hall and church

followed right across the street. Before long, Willoughby had become the place

for both social gatherings and doing business.

That’s the spirit in which Qualico, Chow & Li created Willoughby Town Centre.

This is a neighbourly place to live and meet up, a place that respects the

past, values community, and celebrates the fact that Langley is a great place

to live. With its quality homes and commercial space, pedestrian plazas and

6LANGLEY EVENTS CENTRE

This multi-use facility houses an Arena Bowl, 3 FIBA regulation size courts in

our Gymnasium, the largest Gymnastics Centre in Western Canada, the Willoughby

Community Centre, Banquet Hall and Meeting Spaces all in one. Attend exciting sports events including hockey, volleyball,

curling and basketball.

ENTERTAINMENT Spacious, state-of-the-art movie theatres,

equestrian show arenas, dozens of arts and agricultural festivals and the Fraser Valley’s largest casino....Take your pick!

RESTAURANTS Whether you want a place to take the kids for a burger, a fine restaurant to

celebrate a special occasion, or a fun café to meet up with friends, it’s all

here. Pubs, wine-tasting rooms, and ethnic fare are available here, too.

SCHOOLSIn addition to the three elementary

schools and one high school already here, Willoughby plans to add more.

Trinity Western University and Langley Fine Arts School are also nearby.

PARKS & TRAILSNature matters here. And you can tell! There are 8 parks in Willoughby alone – and dozens more in easy reach just beyond Willoughby’s borders. Walk the trails, watch a softball game, have a picnic, or play with the kids. It’s all here.

GOLF COURSESThere are about 23 golf courses within

a 15-kilometre radius of Langley. Choose a challenging place to play, or

opt for a family-friendly outing followed by lunch at a club house.

Langley in spirit, Willoughby is surrounded by grazing horses, vibrant vineyards,
