THE SALVATION ARMY CENTER OF

HOPE operates the ONLY Family

Emergency Homeless Shelter in

Forsyth County.

It is also home

to the Residential

Reentry Center,

a halfway house.

On average, the

shelter is home

to sixty children,

most under the

age of twelve.

The Center of Hope provides a safe,

caring refuge for families seeking to

regain stability.

The following volunteers are needed Monday through Saturday from 4 to 6 pm:

Greeter | welcome residents into the cafeteria and help with “head counts”

Table Attendant | help set and clean tables and assist in seating families

Beverage Attendant | make sure residents have beverages and refills

Parent Assistant | help parents seat small children (in high chairs, booster seats)

Your gift of time is the gift of hope

to our residents.

Give them two hours, give them hope!
