ONE-CHECK FUNDRAISER
A HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated to our one and only One-Check Fundraiser!! We have almost reached our goal of $10,000!
It's not too late to make a donation...not sure how much to contribute???? Just think "How much would I pay NOT to have to have my kids sell stuff to friends and family to raise money for the school?" No amount is too small or too big! Money will go towards great programs for your kids
throughout the year. Your participation is much appreciated! Forms are available on the website and can be dropped off in the school office.
Looking for other ways to help our school? Be sure and link your Kroger and Target cards to Cobb Middle School. Go to www.CobbPTA.org for
details. Also, join us for Spirit Days! Thanks to everyone who made it out to Nana Frozen Yogurt for our back to school kickoff event! We
received $76.02 for 10% of sales donated back! That's a lot of yogurt!! Our next Spirit Day is at Chick-fil-A (Eldorado and Tollway) on Thursday,
September 30, 6am-10pm. Be sure to leave your receipt and tell them it's for Cobb Middle School. Papa Murphy's Spirit Day (in Little Elm at
Eldorado and 423) will be on Wednesday, October 6, 11am-8pm. Make dinner easy and drop by during the day to pick up a pizza ready to put in
the oven at dinner time! Thank you to our community partners for donating back to Cobb PTA!
New Community Partnership Opportunity: "Juice in the City" will donate $2 to the PTA for every subscriber signing up by Oct. 20. You

is no obligation to participate...just an easy way to earn money for the school and get some good deals while supporting local businesses.

The Cobb Hospitality Committee is off to a very busy start! We provided a Taco Salad lunch for the teachers/staff on the first day they arrived at Cobb! We then purchased donuts & bagels while the Starbucks on Main & Teel donated an urn of coffee for the “Meet the Principal” morning with Mr. Evans. And most recently, we provided a pizza dinner for the staff on “Meet the Teacher” night. Many thanks to the many parents who have helped to make each of these events a great success! Our next showing of teacher appreciation will be on October 27 where we will be providing them with desserts and coffee. Please contact Terrie if you would like to help make some treats.

SPIRIT WEAR
If you didn’t purchase your Cobb Cyclone t-shirt or hoodie, it’s not too late. You can print the order form by accessing Cobb PTA through the school website or directly at www.cobbpta.org. T-shirts are $10 and hoodies are $25. Drawstring bags are sold out, therefore the spirit package is no longer offered. Drop your order forms with cash or checks to the front office, and we’ll deliver to your classroom. Any questions, contact Debbie Williams at [email protected] or 214-236-9506.

International Walk to School Day Wednesday, October 6
Cyclone colors may be blue and orange, but let's show the community how GREEN we are. Wear your Cobb spirit wear on October 6 and come to school under your own foot power. Bike, walk or scooter, but help out the environment and give your carpool a day off.
