PUB appoints Sembcorp to build Singapore’s largest floating solar farm on Tengeh Reservoir
PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, has appointed Sembcorp to build the country’s largest
floating solar photovoltaic system on Tengeh Reservoir. At 60 megawatt-peak, this solar farm is
expected to generate enough energy to power about 16,000 homes and slash carbon emissions
annually - equivalent to taking 7,000 cars off the roads!
PUB will also trim its carbon footprint by using the green energy produced to power its water treatment
processes.
