Wanted: Broken Rosaries, beads, bead cord, old jewelry suitable for making rosaries. These will be re-purposed into complete rosaries to give away to those who want them. Donations can be left in the marked drawer in the storage tower next to the office door in the Gathering Area.

Holy Trinity update from Fr Lorne
We have now been experiencing Masses for four
weekends with the new protocols.
The guidelines for numbers attending, keeping records of who attends which Mass, health assessment questions, distancing and cleaning guidelines are onerous. We have limited staff resources at Holy Trinity, and Val, Heather and Dominic have extended themselves to make it possible for you to return to Mass.
We meet as a staff to discuss how we can make the most with our existing resources. We cannot work our staff seven days a week and so we have had to close at various times to ensure they get their proper time off.
In order to accommodate staff vacation time this summer, we have agreed that it will be less stressful for us to not have Saturday 5 pm Mass for July. For those of you who prefer this Mass time, we pray you will be able to come on Sunday morning at 10 am in order to help us get through the next few weeks.
If you wish to book a Sunday Mass time (10 am) email or call Val or the office.
New Air Conditioning Units—Thanks to all of you for your continued donations. We needed to replace two air conditioning units last week, at a total cost of $7,132. One unit was on the roof, so that involved a crane to lift it into place. Thanks to the CWL and K of C for sharing the cost of the kitchen unit.
No Bulletin or email update from Fr. Lorne—next weekend, Sunday, July 5.
Val will be emailing last year’s participants as well as families
with children in sacramental preparation.
Self-assessment Questions You will be asked the following when you book a weekend Mass, as well as when you arrive at Holy Trinity for any Mass:

Are you sick, including even one of the slightest symptoms or feelings of sickness, especially upper respiratory or flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, headache, aches & pains, sore throat, chills, runny nose, loss of sense of taste or smell or shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
Have you travelled outside of Regina in the past two weeks?
The upholstery at Holy Trinity is not able to be sanitized.
Pews on the south side of the church do not have upholstery and you may
request to sit there, providing they are available with proper distancing.

Sarcan has reopened - you can help a village in
Mexico. Save your refundable bottles to donate to the
Cuernavaca Project in Mexico at any Sarcan location in Regina (glass
should be separated). Use Drop & Go with key word “project”.

The Cuernavaca Project is an outreach of the Archdiocese of Regina, and
needs our help with building projects for villagers to be self-sustaining.

Registration for Kindergarten with Regina Catholic Schools for fall 2020 is on now! If your child was born in 2015, they’re eligible to begin Kindergarten in September 2020. To register, call the school nearest you. Have your child’s birth certificate, baptism certificate and provincial
health card handy. Visit www.rcsd.ca.
Continue to Pray for those who were expecting to join the church at Easter, for those who have been preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation and First Holy Communion, and for parents of young children who attended baptism preparation classes in March. Plans for completion of sacraments of initiation (baptism, confirmation, and First Holy Communion) are being made and families will be contacted directly by Val.
Muffins For Marian Centre Donations of muffins welcomed. Package the muffins in a container or bag
that you do not want back and bring them to the marked
cart in the Holy
Trinity Gathering Area. Muffins will be picked up
Friday morning (9:30 am).
If you prefer, you can take muffins directly to the Marian Centre at 1835 Halifax Street (back door in the alley).

Plastic containers for Carmichael Lunch Program—The Carmichael Centre has resumed providing a hot meal for those in need. They are serving between 150 - 200 meals a day and are very much in need of plastic containers in which to serve these meals. Clean margarine and yogurt containers (capacity of 2 cups or more) can be dropped off at the
church for pick up and delivery to the Carmichael Centre for their use.

Tanzania, African Project— For the last several years, the Holy Trinity CWL has assisted Dr. Pam Petruka by collecting items required for medical clinics, orphanages and schools in Africa and other third world countries. Due to COVID we were unable to gather items for Dr. Petruka to send where needed. However we can now resume collecting items such as big suit-cases, clothing and shoes - especially for children, blankets and school bags. AS WELL - Dr. Petruka was given numerous small cases that can be used in the orphanages as First-aid, School Supply or Sewing Kits.
Thank-you to everyone who has taken a kit to fill. There are still a couple of kits at the church office that can be picked up and filled if anyone would still like to assist with this project.

2020 Holy Trinity CWL Trade & Craft Show.
CWL executive, after careful consideration, decided to cancel the 2020
Trade & Craft Show held in our parish hall on the weekend of Sept 25 &
26. With the current pandemic guidelines we feel it is safer for everyone to
wait until next year. Thank you to everyone for your help in prior years and
we look forward to holding the trade show again in 2021.

Other Liturgy Changes—
Promptness—to ensure we can monitor who is
attending, the doors will be locked at the start of Mass.
This also allows us to provide the proper number of
hosts needed for that Mass.
Announcements will be done before Mass with
detailed instructions for Eucharist.
Singing is a high-risk activity so we will not have this
except for special music as we can fit this in safely.
Proclaimers of the Word—First Reading, Psalm and
Second Reading will all be proclaimed by the same
person. This will be done from a microphone at the
front, with care being taken to not share a microphone
within 72 hours of another person. The ambo (lectern)
and the microphone there are to be used only by
Father Lorne.
Collection—a collection box is inside the glass doors
for your donation instead of being collected from you
in the pew.
Eucharist—hosts will be consecrated on a table and
parishioners will come forward, one household group
at a time. Stand behind the black tape line; Father will
say “The Body of Christ”; respond ‘Amen’, then step
forward and pick up the host closest to you; take a
step or two away before consuming.
We are working hard to help get you back to Mass.
Thank you for your patience as we try things to see
what works for Holy Trinity.
Holy Trinity has re-opened for Masses
with limited numbers
The latest Government of Sask guidelines for Places of
Worship, are permitting more people in churches that can
accommodate them.
At Holy Trinity, we have seating for approximately 30
people, dependent on whether they come as couples, sin-
gles or families. We are registering at least 20 people for
weekend Masses and monitoring how many helpers we
need to provide the controls required for distancing and
cleaning.
Sat 5 pm Mass will be discontinued for July, during staff
vacation, as we cannot fill the positions needed for Satur-
day afternoons.
Requests for Sunday Mass Attendance are being co-
ordinated by Val Magnuson, Pastoral Assistant. She is
taking requests from registered parishioners by email to
attend a weekend Mass.
If you do not have email, call the parish office (306)
543-3838. Requests will be handled during our regular
office hours, which normally have been Monday to Friday,
9 am to 3 pm. Please provide a day-time phone number
so we can call you back and confirm an attendance date.
Questions about your health will be asked at time of
booking (see separate box). Those registered are being
given detailed instructions.
Weekday Mass Attendance - Generally weekday
Masses are Monday to Friday at 8:30 am. You do not
need to register in advance. Come to the north door; we
will record your name and phone number and ask the
health assessment questions. No Mass Wednesday,
July 1 and Thursday, July 9
Church Open for Prayer—We will continue to have the
church open for prayer from 9 am to 2 pm, Monday to
Friday, unless otherwise published in the bulletin.
We may need to close occasionally to ensure staff aren't
working too many hours to accommodate the required
protocols.
Church Pews—Our church pews are marked to for the
2 metre guidelines of social distancing. Our upholstered
pews cannot be sanitized. If you wish to bring your own
seat cushion or towel, please do so. The wooden pews
on the south side of the church do not have upholstery. If
you prefer to sit there, check with the person directing this.
Seating for Mass will be done from front to back. For exit-
ing after Mass, it will be reversed, from back to front.
These directions will be announced at the Mass.
