OPERATION RICE BOWL
Please take home a LENTEN RICE BOWL from the table in the back of the church this weekend. Operation Rice Bowl is the Lenten program of Catholic Relief Services, the international humanitarian aid agency of the Catholic Community in the U.S. 75% of your gifts to Operation Rice Bowl come to Catholic Re-lief Services to fund development projects overseas and Lenten education efforts in the U.S. 25% remains in dioceses in the U.S. to support local hunger and poverty alleviation efforts. The Rice Bowl packet also includes a wonderful Lenten Calendar with daily mediations. Please bring back your filled Rice Bowl during Holy Week and Easter. In the past, Holy Trinity parish has become one of the leaders in the diocese in terms of generosity toward the Rice Bowl Campaign. This is our opportunity during Lent to be charitable to families around the world and in the U.S. Thank you!
