• Possible to graduate from high school and not meet entrance requirements for some post-secondary institutions

• Note OTHER category• 9 - 3000 level credits to graduate

– But, 10 - 3000 level credits for MUN

French Immersion Designation

Students enrolled in the French Immersion program must meet at least minimum graduation requirements and attain six (6) credits in Français courses plus six (6) other credits in courses studied in French. Successful completion will be indicated on the diploma as FRENCH IMMERSION DESIGNATION.

Language courses are combined into a two-credit course at each level.

• All students must complete (8) credits in Language as part of the required 36 for graduation.

• At least (6) credits must be in CORE English. Students will need to obtain at least one Optional language course (i.e. Literacy 941204, English Writing 942203, Drama 942206, Theatre Arts 943220 (L), Novel Cinema (L)) or complete a French course.
