HOLY RELIC COLLECTION OF SAINTS are on display in the Chapel of Holy Spirit Church

From November 1 - November 30 The word "relic" refers to the physical remains or the personal effects of a saint. Relics are classified as first-class (parts of a saint's body), second-class (something the saint owned or wore, sometimes soil from the saint's grave) and third-class (objects, often pieces of cloth, touched to a first-class relic). Relics remind us of the holiness of a saint and his cooperation in God's work. They also inspire us to ask for the prayers of that saint and to beg the grace of God to live the same kind of faith-filled life.

We thank our loving God for all the gifts we have received. We put smiles on the faces of some families in need. We are asking our students to help those in need by bringing in canned foods or non-perishable packaged food.

Drop off dates: Nov. 1- Nov. 23

Suggested items: Noodles, cereal, small bags of rice or beans, canned meat, canned fruit.

All Food will be given to “His Hands Christian Service” to serve the needy of our community.

Thank you & may God bless you!
