BAPTISM PREPARATION Parents should pick up a Baptism Preparation Form at the Rectory to begin the process for Baptism. A short pre-Baptism class is held for parents the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Rectory. Generally, Baptisms are held the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 1PM. ANOINTING OF THE SICK Please contact the Rectory when someone is about to undergo a serious surgery or has a great risk to health.
MATRIMONY Marriage arrangements should begin a year before the proposed date of the wedding by making an appointment with the Pastor. RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS We welcome adults considering membership in the Catholic Church and those desiring to complete their sacraments. RCIA is for you. It is a process that entails weekly informal classes in the Rectory, beginning in the Fall.

OLD PALMS Anyone who would like to dispose of their old palms, please bring them to the church from February 8th through the 23rd, and put them in the bin in the vestibule so that we can prepare ashes for Ash Wednesday.
KIDS FOR CHRIST IS BACK!
At the 9:45am Mass, 3 to 6 year olds are invited into the Chapel to have the Gospel presented at their age level with a fun religious activity. They go back to you in your pew at the Offertory part of the Mass. Please fill out our registration form found in the vestibule.

VALENTINE’S DAY FAMILY DINNER Please Join St. Dominic Council for our annual Valentine’s Day Family Dinner on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 7 PM at our Council, 874 Franklin Ave, Thornwood. Menu provided by Casa Rina will include Pork Osso Buco, Risotto with Sausage & Broccoli Rabe, Chicken Verona (Pancetta, peas, cream sauce), Heart- Shaped Lobster Ravioli, Peas and Carrots, Tomato onion & Arugula Salad, Bread and Butter, Dessert, plus Beer, Wine and Soda. Our Midnight Run Committee . . . will travel to New York City during the evening of Saturday, February 29, 2020 to distribute food, clothing and toiletries to the homeless. We would appreciate donations of gently used men's hooded sweatshirts (M, L, XL, XXL), men's jeans (waist sizes 36-44) and clear comforter bags. These donations can be left on the back far steps for the cafeteria. If you would like to purchase new clothes or toiletries for donation, please email Heather Rubeo ([email protected]) for an Amazon list of items that can be bought on line and shipped to us.
