BOOK OF PRAYER INTENTIONS Prayer Intention books are in the vestibule of all of our worship sites.

When attending Mass, parishioners are encouraged to write the names of their loved ones who are in need of prayer.

The book of names are remembered in our Prayer of the Faithful at all weekday and weekend Masses.

PLEASE NOTE: THE NAME OF THE PERSON(S)

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY Thank you for your generous support throughout the year! Through your donations to the Poor Boxes, SVDP was able to help 42 families last month with financial assistance for food, housing utility or emergency

expenses. If you or someone you know needs assistance, please call our help line: 856-848-7744.

We are also looking for additional volunteers to help carry on our work. If you’d like to join us in this mission, please call the number above or join us at our next meeting:

Tuesday, April 11th · 7:00PM · Ministry Center

† PARISH COMMUNITY † USHERS NEEDED

Holy Angels Parish is in need of additional ushers for ALL Masses, especially at 6:00PM Sunday in the Worship Center.

If you are interested, please contact Anthony Parisi at 609-707- 9712 or [email protected] or speak with any of the ushers at Mass you attend.

Don’t just attend Mass - be a part of it!

GOD-CENTERED STEWARDSHIP “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again.”

- -John 4:13

Jesus reminds us that material things, even something as basic as water, can never satisfy us for long. When

we build our lives around material possessions we always want more. True Joy and Peace only comes when we follow Jesus; when through our Stewardship we become more “God-centered” and less “self-centered”.

THIS WEEKEND’S SECOND COLLECTION: REPAIR & MAINTENANCE

The House of Charity goal for Holy Angels this year is $170,456. To date we have raised 47% of that total thanks to the generosity of 257 families. We invite all parishioners to participate in this important effort. Please make a sacrificial gift to help continue the mission of the Church here in our parish and in the Diocese of Camden.

FAST & ABSTINENCE DURING LENT

On Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, all Catholics ages 18 to 59 are obliged

to observe a sacred fast, that is, taking only one full meal during the day and not eating in between meals.

Likewise, on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, all Catholics 14 years of age and older are obliged to abstain from eating meat.

All the Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence and hence Catholics 24 years of age and older are obliged to refrain from eating meat.

This Season!

SUNDAY, APRIL 2ND In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus tells us that whenever we feed the least of our brothers and sisters, we feed Jesus himself. At this time of the year, many food pantries find themselves with empty shelves while the requests for food are still great.

In response, the Diocese of Camden is organizing its fourth annual faith FULL Food Drive. On the weekend of Saturday/

Sunday, April 1 & 2, we are being asked to bring food

donations to Mass. The collected food will be given to our local Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministry Food Pantry. List of recommended food items and a bag will be available at Mass for take home this weekend. 1 in 6 South Jerseyans, and 1 in 5 children, suffer from food insecurity. Questions? Please contact Jean or Jerry Washko 856-845-6944, Life and Justice Ministry of Holy Angels Parish.

Visit the diocesan web site for additional information at www.camdendiocese.org/faithfull. Recommended items for donation:

ALTAR SERVER MINISTRY Altar Server training had to be delayed, but we now have dates for starting after Easter!

Thursday, April 20th · 6:00PM ~ Worship Ctr.

Friday, April 21st · 6:00PM ~ Worship Ctr.

Saturday. April 22nd · 9:00AM ~ Worship Ctr.
