The Haiti Committee would like to thank you for supporting our Barnes and Noble fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $350. This money will be used to support education at our sister parish and school in Haiti. Father Dopa from our sister parish, St Ives, wishes St James Parish a very Merry Christmas and happy healthy New Year.

Scholarship
For many years, LeMoyne
and Catholic Youth Organization have worked
together to offer eight $4,000 scholarships
($1,000/year). Again this year, CYO
Scholarships will be given to eight deserving
students in the Diocese of Syracuse.
Students who have demonstrated leadership
abilities and have performed outstanding
service to their school, community, and
parish.
DEADLINE: applications must be submitted
to the regional chairperson by January 1,
2018. You can be pick one up at the
Parish Office.
On December 15th the St. James Middle School Youth Group called EDGE enjoyed a Christmas party at the Cazenovia Sports Bowl. 40 Of our Middle School Students from Cazenovia, FM, CBA, and Immaculate Conception came together for a night of bowling fun, Secret Santa exchanges, and caroling. They were joined by 10 of our High School leaders who helped coordinate and chaperone the event.
Santa’s Elves Got Nothing on the St. James Faith Formation Kids! Our 1st - 4th Graders decorated 68 boxes & filled each one with a hat, gloves, scarf, personal items, treats & small gifts. Our 5th - 12th Graders bought & wrapped Christmas Presents for families affiliated with the Brady Faith Center. All of our students wrote cards & notes for each box & gift. They were so thankful to be part of such meaningful service opportunities! #WeAreStJames #SoProudOfOurKids
