The Cathedral of Saint Peter is in need of our help.
The weekend of August 18 & 19, a special collection
for the maintenance and preservation of the Cathe-
dral of Saint Peter will be taken up in all parishes in
our diocese. Please be as generous as you can. For
more information about the Cathedral, please visit
the Cathedral’s website at
www.cathedralofstpeter.com. For a video tour of the
Cathedral, and a tour of the Cathedral’s 100 year-old
pipe organ, visit the diocesan website at
www.cdow.org/cathedral.
Together, we can help assure that our Cathedral will
remain a place of beauty and prayer during our Dio-
cese’s 150th anniversary year and for generations to
come.
SILENT PRAYER:
Our parish has a group of
people who will earnestly
pray for any needs you have.
This is done anonymously via a telephone prayer
chain. If you have a special need for which you
are in need of prayer call: Ms. Jewel D. Matthew

Please save your aluminum pop tabs from
your favorite canned beverages and give
them to any Knight. Pop tab collection is a fundraiser that
supports the Ronald McDonald house.
Our one and only meeting for August is Monday, the 27th at 7
pm preceded by the Holy Rosary at 6:40 pm. Please plan to
attend.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to all men
18 years of age or older who are practical (that is, practicing)
Catholics in union with the Holy See. We value ethnic
diversity because different points of view lead to new ways of
thinking. It also makes us familiar with the struggles of our
community. We’re here to help. Won’t you join us? You’ll be
glad you did.
To become a Knight, contact Tony Malafronti (302) 530-1016
or Joel Watson (302)373-6617.
