KAI WEN PART 3. Individual reflection on skills and lessons learned. What skills, morals and lessons were learned from this project? How did they help you grow as an individual? ((INDIVIDUAL)) During the course of event of this activity, I, as the team member learned a number of thing about work together in a team. I learned a few strengths and potential weakness of myself during this activity. One of the things I learnt is working in a group will gain a variety of ideas which we need to select suggested by our group members. Then, we have to provide justifications for the selection or rejection for any idea of all members of the group. I found it really hard to satisfy all the members about choices we make and options that are rejected. From the decision of which community organization to work with, to the decision of location to carry out the activity, we all had a lot of ideas and everyone was of the view that his/her idea is the most suitable. Besides that, I learned to analyze the options and choose the viable one, something which is called brainstorming. When making certain choices in a group, I must always prioritize the goal of our group in order to benefit our project. Next, I also learn how conflicts arise, how they can sabotage the group performance and how they should be sabotage the group performance and how they should be resolved to make people stay involved and committed to the activity. Other than that, I also learnt that one needs to have accountability in order to lead a team well. The team leader is always responsible to ensure everything is progressing well and on schedule. This includes from meeting sessions to activities planning and execution. Another key learning I obtained is time management. It is tough to gather all the team members for discussions due to time clashes or distance problem. I learn to make full use of each discussion session for brainstorming and task allocation, where we need all the team members to participate. Apart from the above mentioned key learning, I feel grateful to be able to take part in such a meaningful activity. I feel happy that I

I feel happy that I am able to contribute my creativity and innovations during the brainstorming session on the performances and activities for this project. At the end of the project, the soft skills that I have learnt also improve me as an individual who is preparing to face the challenges in the tough world we live in. 4. Personal future development. Description of what future development is required to enhance your responsibility and growth as a person. ((INDIVIDUAL))By participating in this event, I realize that social development is imperative. I discovered that I am lack of soft skills in relation to other people. The importance of these skills in workplace is significant, and is a must to acquire this skill in order to function well in the workplace. The improvement of communication with other people is my goal. I will change how I interact with people by allocating more time for the communication with others. In order to achieve this skill, I will involve myself in elective post as a representative of our college societies. Acquiring this leadership position is important for my development of leadership skills. The acquisition of this post will also help me improve in my communication skills when I had to interact with others. For example, gathering ideas to solve problems of the society. It will lead me to become more responsible and caring person due to having other responsibilities towards the society beside studies.By joining the societies in the college, it provides me an extra-curricular activity and a social group outside of classroom will enable me to deal with stress more effectively. It will also allow me to relax actively and to live a more productive life. Besides that, I have learned that we can apply the knowledge we gained in the classroom in real life by joining the activities of these societies. Also, I have learned that time management is the most critical tool towards achieving personal goals not only in education , but also in the other aspects of life. I have realized that the increase in my overall academic goals, as well as extracurricular activities, is a result of proper time management, and the ability to work with strict time schedules. Lastly, I have learned that education required to coordination of activities between personal efforts and the teamwork. I have observed that I perform better when I participate in class activities, work in groups and challenge each other. This is important for future researches and scholars like me because at least, I am able to express ideas and ideologies to a number of people, and the challenges they pose. In order to enhance my responsibility and growth as a person, I will learn ways to increase my self- esteem and confidence. This is important as it is a fundamental factor at the core of this broad and significant pursuit. Widening ones self-awareness will leads to discovering new potential in you. When a persons circle of self-awareness increases, he or she consciously explores a greater hidden potential, but also the limits too. This will widen the area of future discovery and further development within you in order to become a better person.

Lastly, I also realized the importance of soft skills. A persons soft skill or EQ is an important part of their individual contribution to the success of an organization thus it is imperative for me to learn. Particularly those business organization dealing with customers face to face often in the service industry. Screening or training for personal habits or traits such a dependability and conscientiousness can yield significant benefits. For this reason, soft skills are increasingly sought out by employers in addition to standard qualifications. Thus, soft skills are not only a need but a must to equip with.
