The Living Nativity Committee would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all who contributed in any way to the amazing success of our 2nd Living Nativity. It takes a lot of commitment from a lot of people to put together an event that brings the beautiful story of the birth of Jesus to all our parishioners, the congregations of other local churches, our entire community and communities beyond Okotoks and Black Diamond. The individuals
and groups involved are too numerous to mention so if you played a part THANK YOU!! This meaningful event was extraordinary because of more than 2,200 visitors, so if you came to visit the Living Nativity last Saturday
we THANK YOU!

Dec. 23rd, 2018 - 4th Sunday in Advent
“For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my
ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy.” (Luke 1:44)
When you hear the scripture readings and Gospel reading
each Sunday, do you “leap for joy?” If not, don’t blame the
lecturer or priest, rather look inside yourself. Do you prepare
for Mass each week or do you just show up and expect to be
entertained? We are called to be active participants, not
passive by-standers.
