Peel Children’s Aid Foundation and Peel Children’s Aid’s Holiday Wishes Program brings holiday joy to vulnerable children, youth, and families involved with Peel Children’s Aid. This year we are proud to extend our program throughout the year to include Eid and Diwali.

Since 2005, our Holiday Wishes Program has provided 1500 children and youth each year with grocery gift cards, toiletries, warm winter clothing, holiday lunches, and family board games.

As poverty in Peel Region continues to rise, we encourage our generous donors to assist us in ensuring every child, youth, and family in need is safe, healthy, and happy this holiday season.

Recent reports from the United Way of Toronto and York Region found a significant increase in low income families in Peel. This includes 20% of Peel Region residents between the ages of 0 to 5 that live below the poverty belt.

For families living in poverty, coping during the holiday season can be the most difficult time of the year. Here’s how you can help:

Snow f lake Donor — $10,000• Provide 200 youth living on independence with

a week’s worth of groceries • Support 50 vulnerable infants with a safe sleep

environment including cribs and mattresses• Sustain our Distribution Centre for 8 months to

support 1,500 families annually with new clothing and toiletries

• Corporate logo and announcement on our main website and Holiday Wishes webpage

• Opportunity to have a youth speak at your next corporate event

• Personalized ‘Thank You’ letter from the Foundation’s Executive Director that you can share publicly

Mist letoe Donor — $2 ,500• Provide 50 children with warm winter jackets• Set the table for 35 families • Sustain our Distribution Centre for 2 months to

support 1,500 vulnerable families annually• Thank You letter from Peel Children’s Aid Foundation

that you can share publicly

Candy Cane Donor — $5,000• Provide 40 infants with six weeks’ worth of baby wipes• Comfort 100 children with warm winter boots • Sustain our Distribution Centre for 4 months to

support 1,500 families annually with new clothing and toiletries

• Corporate logo and announcement on our main website and Holiday Wishes webpage

• Personalized Thank You letter from the Foundation’s Executive Director that you can share publicly

Reindeer Donor — $1 ,000• Clothe an infant for one year with diapers and wipes• Supply a year's worth of toothbrushes, tooth paste,

deodorant, shampoo, and conditioner to six teens living on independence

• Sustain our Distribution Centre for a month to support 1,500 vulnerable families annually

• Thank You letter from Peel Children’s Aid Foundation that you can share publicly

For $300 you can send a family to our annual Holiday Party hosted by the Mississauga Convention Centre. This gift includes transportation, lunch, lots of fun activities, gift cards and lovely gifts and goodies for the whole family!
