    Lettering style Neuland Hand

    Practice sheets were created to estimate measurements for the final piece. Orange marks indicate corrections (specifically umlauts and punctuation), directions to condense or expand letters and/or spacing, and center points of each line. Pink and green inks were used because these are the least used inks in my collection and to preserve the nibs for the final piece.

  • Materials used in “chill” wrapping paper Neuland FineOne brush nib used to create the lettering style “twinkle”

    Folded pen used with drawing fluid to write “chill” and draw snowflakes directly onto silkscreen.

    Neuland BlackPad flip chart paper with silver silkscreen ink

    Materials used in “PEACE” card Neuland BigOne outliner hacked to make brush stroke looking marks to write Neuland hand and ArtMarker red 200 to write brush lettering

    Sink art technique write on multi-media or watercolor paper and immediately place under slow running water to allow wet ink to spread across paper
