Holiday Homework• The school building may be closing early but

this doesn’t mean that the learning has to stop. • You teachers have set you work to do in the

two weeks you’re are off before the holidays officially start.

• It is important that you do this work and let us know you have done it.

• There are two ways to access the work:1.Online via the school website and foldr2. On paper

Instructions for using foldr:On a computer:

• Navigate to https://foldr.deansfield.co.uk• You may receive an error which is expected,

just ignore it and proceed:• Find Classroom Dropbox and locate the

correct folder in the subject area.• Click to download the work.

• Your teacher will now demonstrate…

On an iPad:

• Open the foldr app (free download from app store)

• The foldr address is foldr.deansfield.co.uk• User name and password is the same as you

use to browse the internet (ask if you don’t know it!)

Find the subject folder and download the activities

Submitting your work

• On a computer:• Save your work with your name as the file

name:• Click “file” then “Save as” and save the

document on the computer you are using

• Open https://foldr.deansfield.co.uk• Find Student Dropbox• Find the right department• Find the right year and click the homework

folder

• Click on the little cloud• Select your saved file and upload it

On an iPad

• e.g. Pages – Change the name of your document to something sensible with your name in it.

• Tap the name of the document

• Delete the default name and replace it• Tap the Share symbol

• Tap open in another App

• Tap the document• Choose PDF / Word or Pages

• Choose “Open in Foldr”

• Tap “Choose a destination”

• Go to the right department in student dropbox• Select “Upload”
