-Use images (sound and video optional)
-Find facts/information about them; their life, their
interests, their work, their inspiration, interesting,
strange facts etc.
2. New Character: -A3 poster
-Image of new character
-Information boxes on their character and
personality.
-Brief explanation of how they fit in the story
and effect they have on it.
3. Summary:
-take important notes - 800 words.
-Use headings / subheadings.
- Analyse plot / language / characters / structure
etc.
4. New Closing: -Review original opening to the novel.
-Max 700 words.
- Decide on language / details you are going to
alter to change the ending.
-Use language suited to that genre.

Geography
1. Draw and explain the types of settlements.
2. What points should we keep in mind while studying a topographical map? Write in brief.
3. Use the internet and select 5 satellites images. In each image identify the following:

4. You have visited a place during summer vacations. Prepare a report of that city giving the
information of the following facts of that place.

In the report students will give details about the above points and paste the pictures too.
5. A high population is not of much value to a nation if the people are not well educated or trained.
The government and people should strive to ensure that education reaches as many people in the
country as possible. Help in the task of educating people around you who have not had that chance
to go to school. When the school reopens present a report along with the report card of the person/
persons to whom you helped to become literates.
6. A large number of Indian Engineers and other qualified people migrate to the USA and other
countries. Do you think this brain drain is affecting the economic growth of our country? Explain.
History
Investigatory topic: Organ donor- Heroes after death!!
Create a poster on the topic ‘Make a Miracle’ to spread awareness about the importance of
organ donation. Give an insight into the advantages of organ donation to the society.
Write your reflections in 60 words about organ donation.
OBJECTIVE:
To sensitize students about the necessity of organ donation
GUIDELINES
The total length of the Project should not be more than 10 pages of A-4 size paper.
The project will be handwritten and credit will be awarded to original drawings, illustrations
and creative use of materials.
The project will be presented in a neatly bound simple folder.
The project report will be developed and presented in the following order:
Page- 1 Cover Page showing project title, student information, school and year.
Page-2 Contents: List of contents with page numbers.
Page- 3 Project Overview: Purpose, Aim, Methodology and experiences while doing the
project.
Page- 4 onwards- Subject Matter: Chapters with relevant headings and illustrations.
All the photographs & sketches should be labeled and acknowledged.
Complete the data collected and present the project properly. Do not forget to give
conclusion/observations/finding recommendation/ reflections at the end along with proper
citations and references.

Project I- Create a database with the name Educators_Data to store the information
about teachers. Do the following in it.
Add the following field in the table:
Educator_No. Educator_Name, Subject _taught, Contact_ No,
Email_ ID.
Specify a suitable data type for each field.
Select a suitable field which can be set as a primary key field for the
database.
Enter five records in it.
Add a new field Date _of_ joining at the end.
Sort the database as per the ascending order of Educator_ Name
Project II –
1. Design a birthday card for your friend in photoshop7.0, by following the
instruction given below.
Create a background using the pattern stamp tool.
Type the birthday wishes using the type tool.
Paste a picture of your friend and improve it by using various tools available
in photoshop7.0
Take a print of the card and present it to your friend.
