The Golden Times Onslow County Senior Services Newsletter Onslow
County Consolidated Human Services Agency Mission:
Delivering supportive, social, economic, protective, and
health
services that build better lives for individuals and
families.
Senior Services Season’s Greetings!
As the end of 2021 and the holidays approach, this is the time to
look back on the year as a whole. This has been another year that
the pandemic has affected everyone and everything. In light of
November being National Gratitude Month, there is a quote that
comes to mind. John F. Kennedy stated, “We must find the time to
stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.” So
to all the participants who came back after the Senior Center
reopened to the public, to all the clients who have stayed with
programs offered, to all the volunteers who have continued to help,
and to the staff that works here daily, thank you. Thank you for
helping Senior Services be the agency it is, and for helping
programs to be able to continue. Here’s to the hope that 2022 is a
better year for growth, and another great year for fellowship and
fun!
