tasks and appreciate your potential in a positive manner.

A holiday is such an integral part of our life: let us focus on the wealth of our nation: its culture,

biodiversity, wildlife and geographical range. The theme of the Summer Assignment this year is:

[‘Eco Tourism’ Promoting the ecology / economy and culture of India].

Make a folder of about 8, A4 sheets. Include the following in the folder and make an attractive title page entitled: ‘Eco Tourism: Our responsibility’.

1. A pictorial collage on 4, A4 size sheets about

a vacation or a recent trip or excursion to a beach,

wildlife sanctuary or a hill station in India entitled

‘Travel and Tourism’ linking an eco­friendly attitude

with exploration and enjoyment.’ The collage should

include phrases / headings / information and

slogans highlighting your experience as being

enriching and educational.

2. Choose a destination in India which is on your WISH LIST for the winter vacations. Create a page about this place which includes: Things to do and Places to see. Add relevant pictures and information. Give your reason

for wanting to visit.

3. Find out the difference between ecotourism and traditional tourism?

List few things which people, including Tour Operators, can do to help, respect and preserve

local flora and fauna of any two latest projects in North India which have been planned or going

to be planned to promote Eco Tourism.
