Motivational sessions for School Students

300 girls of Government High School, Mauli Jagran and 100 boys of Kundan International School, Chandigarh participated in the motivational sessions – a talk on ‘Sexual Abuse and Prevention’ organized by our club with initiative

Rtn. Dr. Mrs. Shashi Jain and Rtn. Dr. Mrs. Harinder Jit Kaur and support of Secretary Rtn. Sundeep Singh Sawhney. The talks are being delivered by experienced psychologists, trained to handle such sensitive subjects in the spectrum of Child Psychology. Overall feedback was good, and school authorities expressed their gratitude.

This is a small step taken by Rotary Chandigarh Midtown in the Chandigarh region where there is lack of awareness regarding sexual abuse. We look forward to organizing more of these events with a hope to spread awareness, to create constructive dialogue and a brighter future for the school children.

Thanks to Dr. Vishwakirti Chhabra, Vice President, The Mind Research Foundation for their continuous support for arranging the speakers.
