Hole Saws Hole Saws Available Hole Saw Sizes Steps for Use : 1. Determine diameter and location of desired hole. 2. Determine the appropriate speed for cutting based on hole saw diameter. These speeds can be found on the Mill/Lathe/Drill Press Speed Charts. 3. For the larger hole saws snap the tightening collar down to prevent over tightening. Use the pilot drill with out tightening collar for smaller hole saws. 4. Insert appropriate hole saw into drill press or mill. 5. Secure work piece on wood or something that can be cut. •Secure/Clamp work piece. •De-bur edges to prevent cuts. •Not for thick metal. Safety : Figure 1.
