ShakhtSpetcStroy Group boast 70 year experience in shaft sinking and building mine

workings using both conventional and special-purpose development technologies.

1. In the period between 1943 and 2016 ShakhtSpetcStroy Group sank and commissioned 945 shafts with the total length of 192 500m. Most of this footage

was sunk using special purpose shaft sinking techniques: rock freezing and

plugging.

2. Among current clients of ShakhtSpetcStroy Group are the following resource

companies: Uralkali PJSC, Safyanovskaya Med JSC (UMMC), Stoilensky GOK

JSC (Mine and Beneficiation Plant), KMAruda integrated works JSC, Eurokhem

(Moscow) JSC, ALROSA JSC (PLC), PhosAgro JSC.

3. The Company was selected to develop mine designs and to sink shafts for

international projects (the People's Republic of Bulgaria, the Mongolian People's

Republic, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Mali, Ethiopia).

The organizational structure of the trust and qualified personnel of workers and engineers

documentation, production and installation of non-standard equipment and reinforcement,

preparatory works, drilling of shaft and interface of trunks with horizons, and urban

construction.

driving and maintaining flat and flat-dipping mine openings, construction, installation, check out and start up operations for mines and processing industries. URALSHAKHTSPETSSTROY has advanced technical equipment and facilities to execute works in adverse

Performance of works according to customized design and designer’s field supervision makes it possible to solve effectively and

beneficiation plants and infrastructure for broad variety of industrial sectors;

buildings and structures in urban development; • Project follow up, obtaining approvals and permissions; • Designer's field supervision and technical supervision;

Inspection of buildings and structures includes the following: • Review of historical data and available project documentation related to the target facility/building;

• Examination of structure geometrics, flaw detection and characterization; • Study of structure’s material condition (lasting quality, moisture, toughness, etc.); • Preparing inventory of defects - damage statements, rough sketches; • Investigation into the origin of defects; • Providing recommendations on structural reinforcement or renewal aimed at extending the structure’s service life; • Collection and study of historical geologic and hydrogeologic materials; • Admeasurement works to reconciliate available data, drawing measurement diagrams; • Digging trial holes to define quality and geometric parameters of foundations, taking soil samples from beneath the

foundation level; • Inspection of foundations, basement walls, their moisture proof status, base level soil formations;

• Laboratory investigation of soil samples to determine their mechanical and physical properties; • Setting up openings, probing devices, clearances and apertures to inspect walls, floor panels, stair flights, roofs; • Inspection of wall, floor panel, stair flight and roof structures; • Taking samples, on-site and laboratory study of wood, brick, rock, concrete and bonding mortar material; • Geodetic works to check levelness and verticality tolerance of structures;

Survey work is carried out in compliance with Code of Practice «Environmental and engineering survey for construction projects» (SP 11-102-97), and is also guided by Construction Norms & Regulations /SNiP 11-02-96 «Geotechnical investigation for construction projects. the scope of engineering investigations as per Certificate № 109-01/И-038 dated 13.06.2013:
