Who needs World Languages
• 2 levels of the same foreign language required for College/University (3 levels highly recommended)
• basic necessity for today's global careers
• higher scores on scholastic tests
• understanding of one's own and other cultures
• Foreign languages are at the core of other areas of study, such as literature, fine arts, social studies, science, etc.

• 5 levels offered (honors credit 3 and up) incl. AP
• use of latest technologies
• placement testing
• exchange / travel abroad
• consider long term goals
• begin as early as possible
• fluency requires more than 2 levels
• register level 1&2 for the same academic year
• be careful when changing pathway
• plan last course close to graduation
