ITINERARY
Day 01 SAIGON ARRIVAL - FULL DAY CITY TOUR (- / Lunch /
Dinner)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, our tour guide and driver
will welcome and pick you up to the center of the city for
sightseeing: visit to China Town,
War Remnants Museum, Lam Son Mosque. Have lunch at a Halal
restaurant, then visit the Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame
Cathedral),
the Old Post Office and the Peoples Committee Hall, free time
for shopping at Ben Thanh market. Dinner will be served at Halal
restaurant or other
restaurants for Muslim tourists.
Day 02 CU CHI TUNNELS HALF DAY SHOPPING TOUR
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
In the morning, you will have your excursion to the famous Cu
Chi tunnels. This network of tunnels, which stretched for over
200km, became legendary
during the 1960s. In the afternoon, we visit Ho Chi Minh City,
formerly known as Saigon, is the largest and busiest city in
Vietnam with a population of
7 million people. Begin at Tay Son Lacquerware, one of Vietnams
leading manufacturers of lacquerware. We will continue to visit the
showroom of Minh Long I,
where porcelain products are manufactured for famous brands like
Disney Land. We will move on to Sai Gon Square where you can
purchase many items for
a very reasonable price and see goods prepared for export. After
we depart Sai Gon Square, we will move on to either the famous Ben
Thanh Market or
Binh Tay Market for souvenir shopping and interesting food
options. We will conclude our tour by showing you the rapid
development of Ho Chi Minh City
and we will visit some large shopping department stores such as
Parkson and Vincom Center Shopping Mall.
Day 03 FULLDAY MY THO BEN TRE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Breakfast at hotel, then our guide will pick you up at hotel and
transfer along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.
On arrived at My Tho,
take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the sti lt
houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river
bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch
in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh a less
touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed
sampan under the shadow of the
water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal
fruit & honey tea to the sound of Don ca Tai Tu (Southern
Vietnamese folk music),
performed by local people. Visit a family business which
epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut
candy & observe the pastoral life
as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the
bus and return to HCMC. This trip provides a fascinating insight
into daily life in the Mekong Delta
and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection
of beautiful memories. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 17:00PM and
drop off your hotel.
Day 04 SAIGON DEPARTURE (Breakfast)
The day is at your leisure for last minute sight-seeing or
shopping until your transfer to International airport for your
onward flight.
