Check out the new pass!This is an example of a pass

you could write for a student to go to a computer lab.

Fill out student name and date

Check location and the room the student is coming from

Sign on first signature box with time

Second signature would be if the student returns to your classroom

Request Pass If you need a student to come to your room during an Encore fill out student name, date, and “to room”

Then sign on the request line with the time you need the student

The Encore teacher will fill out the “from room” along with signing on the first signature line with a time

If the student is returning to their original Encore the requesting teacher would sign again on the second signature line with the time the student is returning to Encore

New York State English Language Arts and Math Assessment Bell Schedule

7:53 Warning Bell 7:58 Students report to scheduled 1st Period Class for attendance to be taken promptly

Pledge of Allegiance Announcement releasing students that need to travel to testing locations will follow Pledge

8:05 Students in testing rooms

8:15 P.A. Announcement signaling proctors to begin testing when classroom is ready 9:45 Proctor announces testing time has completed (90 minutes from starting time)

Proctors confirm answer sheets are correctly filled in. Student Materials/Exam envelopes should be sorted in separate piles by proctor. (Book, Answer Sheets) Counselors come around to collect completed testing materials/exam envelopes from classrooms.

Students that need additional time will begin to be escorted by an aide to LMC to complete exams. 10:13 All other students are dismissed to their period 4 class. Bell Schedule from Period 4- Monday April 15th A Day Regular Bell Schedule Tuesday April 16th B Day Periods 4,5,6,7,8,9 ELA EXAM Wednesday April 17th A Day Periods 4,5,6,7,8,9 ELA EXAM Thursday April 18th B Day Periods 4,5,6,7,8,9 ELA EXAM

Friday April 19h B Day Regular Bell Schedule Monday April 22nd A Day Regular Bell Schedule Tuesday April 23rd B Day Regular Bell Schedule Wednesday April 24th A Day Periods 4,5,6,1,2,3 MATH EXAM Thursday April 25th B Day Periods 4,5,6,1,2,3 MATH EXAM Friday April 26th A Day Periods 4,5,6,1,2,3 MATH EXAM We understand that this schedule does not impact periods 4-6, and these periods will have more instructional time. If you are teaching a class during one of these periods, and your team would like to come up with a team activity or team lesson during periods 4-6, you are welcome to do so.

When Students Have Completed Their Tests: Students who finish their assessment before the

allotted time expires should be encouraged to go back and check their work. Once the student checks his or her work, or chooses not to, examination materials should be collected by the proctor.

No talking is permitted and no other schoolwork is permitted. Students will sit quietly until the testing time expires.

Cultural Diversity Day March 8Students will be grouped by fire drill lines.More specifics will be coming soon.Thank you to everyone who volunteered to

present!

Safety AuditJohn Crangle met with local police agencies to

conduct a safety audit and to review our emergency plans.

A district safety committee will work to align building plans.

Traffic continues to be a concern and we will continue to work with parents, students, staff and bus drivers to improve safety.

Please, Please, Please be aware that it is illegal to pass a bus during dismissal when the lights are flashing.

Plan ahead if you need to leave before the busses.
