We will hold a community charette with local business owners and will present the final products, gallery style, at the MatchBox - 17 South Sixth Street Suite X on Thursday, April 23rd from 1:30 to 3:15 pm. Please mark your calendars and come see the contribution that our HLA students are making to the fabric of downtown Lafayette.

The Landscape Architecture Program’s 50th Anniversary celebration will take place Saturday, April 18th. A number of exciting activities will take place throughout the day, including Alumni events, a luncheon, a building open house, and more. W. William Weeks, president of the national Conservation Law Center and Professor of Law at Indiana University, will present the 2015 Bookwalter Lecture. Titled “The Definition of Insanity,” the lecture takes place at 4:30 in the Class of 1950 Lecture Hall The day is capped off by a celebratory banquet and cocktails starting at 6:30 in the Purdue Memorial Union North Ballroom. Congratulations to Dr. Aaron Patton. On April 8th, Dr. Aaron Patton was awarded the 2015 Purdue Graduate Student Government (PGSG) Faculty Mentor Award. The award was graduate student nominated and selected by the PGSG.
