The Parabolic® tooth system was originally patented by Hensley Galveston-Houston
Company around the late 1960s. Two patents for the pinning systems were granted
in 1969 (3,444,633 and 3,520,224). Hensley® no longer offers a small domestic made
Parabolic® tooth systems. Those Parabolic® teeth are manufactured overseas in
China and sold through most Komatsu® and Hensley® Dealers.
H&L Tooth offers a variety of Parabolic® style and size teeth,
including the 156, 160 and 220 systems.

The “Uni-Z” style tooth system (Zahnsystem) is a BAZ design that dates
back to the late 1990s and manufactured in Switzerland.
The system is primarily used in Europe almost exclusively. It has not
found it’s way to the United States or Canada as of 2016.
