The greatest strategy
of Hitler, this part of
the history is theleast discussed
inspite of its huge
importance in the
WW-II history.
From 10 divisions to 136
divisions, Hitler kept
producing infantry,
armors, tanks, warships,
aircrafts, and all this
was done right under
the noses of ALLIED
Forces

Hitler knew that alliedforces wanted toavoid war, so he
stretched them totheir limits in hisfavor.
Hitler used the
pretext of Germans inSudetenland to takeover a part of Czechs.
Talked of peace while
conquering.
Not inviting the
country under questionwas a wisely thought up
strategic move.
Helped in insurgence
of revolts in the areathus forcing Czechs to

Attack on Poland on
Sep 1st 1939.
Declaration of war by
allies on Sep 3rd

Britain and France
both had declared
war on Germany
after the Polish
attack, but both did
not see much action
against Germany
This behavior was
encashed upon by Hitler
in his favor, as he knew
that France and Britishwanted to avoid war, and
thus he used the next 6
months to consolidate
his position.

Hitler was contemplating his
next target as he wanted
as well as wanted to avoidconfrontation with allied
forces in France.
A veteran of WW-I suggestedthat he should take over
Denmark, Norway next.
Strategic Importance:
The various strategic ports,
airbases in Scandinavian
region could be used to help
their own navy and air-force
for future conquests.
Various militarily important
resources like iron-ore, timber
were easily available in this
region, and could be used to
further Germanys cause and
army.

And so the AXIS allies
reached their highest
point in historyconquering France in
one final sweep. France
signed an armistice
treaty under greatpressure on June 22nd
1940.
GRAND PLAN:
This great plan changed history
only to see Germany defeated
later.
The plan was to use a majorGerman armored forces offensive
in the center. These will then run
to the channel ports. Attacking
from right wing and attacking at
Sedan will eventually round up all
the Anglo-French as well as
Belgium armies.

Using diplomatic moves to avoid
war in the start
Using terror as a weapon to notonly control Germany, but take
control of Austria as well as
Czechoslovakia without war
Talking of peace again and again
to avoid unnecessary
aggression.
Creating strategically important
alliances from time to time to
further his own purpose.
Using speeches, and propaganda
to further his purpose.
Making use of good battle moves
on the battlefield, and listening to
the suggestions of his army
however bad they may be.
Having faith, confidence in
himself even when his generals
were dead against him.

Although Hitler was a
good general, and
even considered
himself a military
genius, he made
some fatal mistakes
which later changedthe course of battle.
Battle of Dunkirk : After rounding
up all allied forces, he ordered his
army to halt, and with-in next 4
days, British soldiers were
evacuated from the port of Dunkirk
right under Germanys nose.
Signing a pact with Italy which was
not at all strong at that time. It
even betrayed him at one point.
He was also arrogant, rash and had
a tendency to act on impulse,
which he later did, and that led to
Germany loosing the war.
