Hitachi e-Copy, a feature within theLightning 9900 V Series systems, enablesnon-disruptive backups directly from disk to tape in a storage area network (SAN)environment. This eliminates server CPUand I/O overhead during actual datamovement, which significantly shortens the time required for backups.

VERITAS NetBackup offers backup andrecovery solutions for heterogeneousenvironments, delivering quick and reliablebackup/recovery that can span fromterabytes to petabytes in size.
