FIRST PHOTO CONTAINING A HUMAN BEING The first portrait picture ever made was

of Robert Cornelius. This picture was taken in 1813. He took the picture himself.

STROBOSCOPIC

In 1872 this instrument was used like an optical

illusion to make things look slower than they appear.

This worked by interrupting the viewers vision so

that the object could only be seen in intervals.

In 1878 Edward Muybridge took a series of pictures to solve a mystery. Then Edward presented the pictures in a fast speed that looked like a video.

In 1887 Thomas Edison patented the first ever motion picture camera.

KINETOSCOPE

Although viewed at the time as novelty, the Kinetoscpe invented my Thomas Edison is thought to inspire motion picture today.

This invention was first shown to the public in 1894.

Although the Kinetoscope was built to entertain masses

at a time, it was only able to entertain one person at a time.

FIRST FILM PROJECTOR

In 1895 Latham Woodville and his sons, Otway and Gray Woodville, expose the first movie projector developed in the US.

This invention was inspired by Thomas Edison's Kinetoscope.

Charles P. Ginsberg developed the first video tape recorder In 1951.

This devise captured live images and video from television cameras and transmitted them onto magnetic tapes.

CAMERA PHONE

The first phone that included a camera was the Samsung SCH-V2000.

This phone was released in June of 2000.

The phones camera had .35 megapixals the phone could hold up to 20 photos, but they had to be viewed on a computer.
