Who created the Computer?

Konrad Zuse was the first man to invent a Computer.

He called it Z1.

It was invented in 1941.

Debug?What does it mean?

To correct a problem in hardware or software.

Debugging software means locating the errors in the program logic.

Debugging hardware means finding errors in the logical circuits or in the physical interconnections of the circuits.

How did it come about?

There was an actual bug in a computer, when they discovered why the computer wasn’t working they took the bug out and it worked fine.

Grace Murray Hopper discovered this in 1947.

The Internet!

The Internet was invented during the late 1950s to the 1970s by a group of researchers and scientists at the newly formed Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA).

The internet was started because the USSR had launched Sputnik, the first successful satellite. The USA didn’t want to be behind technology wise.

Babbage’s Analytical

EngineCharles Babbage(1791-1871) started working on a machine that would help America solve

any kind of equations. For example, polynomial equations

where solved with ease.

Tabulating Machine?

Herman Hollerith’s tabulating machine was invented for the sole purpose of census voting.

He created punch cards that can be read by the machine. They are the only things that

the machine reads.

E.N.I.A.C.The world's first electronic digital computer was

developed by Army Ordnance to compute World War II ballistic

firing tables. It was built on 1800 square feet.

Program :An organized list of instructions that, when executed, causes the computer to behave in a predetermined manner.Without programs, computers are useless.

Microcomputers!

Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs , college dropouts

who founded Apple Computer in 1976, are credited with inventing the first computer for

home use.

Binary systemThe binary system is

just computer language. It is a code using only

0’s and 1’s.
