Judy completed an M.A. from UBC, a History Project Certificate through the Centre for the Study of Historical Consciousness at UBC’s Faculty of Education, and teaches history at Simon Fraser University. She is on the board of many Chinatown and historical organizations, such as the Vancouver Chinatown National Historic Site Committee, the British Columbia Historical Federation, and the Greater Seattle chapter of the Organization of Chinese Americans-Asian Pacific American Advocacy.
