The buildings at 6990 Heise Road are set on a large 87.20 acre lot, located on the west side of the street between County Road and Lapp Road. Heise Road is a residential north-south corridor in the eastern section of the Town of Clarence. The 2-story, cross gabled, vernacular, Colonial Revival, folk farmhouse is located at the end of a long private road and is 5 bays wide by 1 bay deep with a stone foundation. A large, two-story addition is to the rear (west). A two car garage is attached on the north side. To the northeast is a large gabled barn with vertical rough cut lumber siding with a field stone foundation and concrete silo. What appears to be a small, hipped roof smoke house is further east, and three modern barns, together with the nineteenth century barn form a rough U. The primary entrance to the building is the center of the enclosed front porch in the north block. In the central projecting gable bay there is a central brick chimney flanked by double hung windows on both stories. Each window has one shutter. The south block has a shuttered double hung window on each story.

The buildings at 6990 Heise Road are significant as a relatively intact late nineteenth century farmstead, still functioning as a farm today.
